How would you like to have 13 Santa Clauses? This country has a story about some lads/Santa's and their parents. Yes these parents had 13 sons and every year they come down from the mountains. This takes thirteen days and then they go back up into the mountains over thirteen days. All at Christmas time!
The families in this country like to celebrate Christmas together. They like to stay home and decorate their tree. This is done on 23 December which is the day they celebrate St Thorlakur Thorhallsson, the Bishop of Skalhott.
After all of this activity they have a meal of skate. I wonder what that tastes like.
